Session 1: History Day in Any Classroom
Presenter: Bradley Liebrecht (WSCSS & West Valley Junior High)
In this session, presenter Bradley Liebrecht will explain how to modify the Dig Deep CBA for use in combination with the History Day program. He will also advise educators on incorporating History Day into their curriculum and share material sets.
Session 2: History Day Program Support: Insight from a District Administrator, Partnering with Your School Librarian, Fundraising Techniques
Presenters: Brian Loffer (Bethel School District), Michelle Annett (Cascade Middle School), and Kila Salyers Smith (Prosser High School)
In this session, presenter Jill Berge will demonstrate how Noodle Tools can strengthen a History Day program, presenter John Zingale will advise on incorporating STEM skills into the History Day program, and presenter Bradley Liebrecht will demonstrate the use of Google Classroom in History Day program management.

In this session, presenters Jill Berge, John Buchinger, and John Zingale will share History Day lesson plans on writing research questions and selecting a History Day topic, writing a History Day thesis, and creating an annotated bibliography, respectively.
Session 5: Historical Research in Washington State: Accessing Our State’s History
Presenters: Hannah Robinson-Oden (Washington State Archives), Theresa Mudrock (UW Library and Special Collections), Emily Gogerty Northrip (Washington State Historical Society), and Kim Gant (Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation)
In this session, presenters from four historical research organizations in Washington State will introduce educators to their organizations, explain the nature of their historical collections, and advise on remote access for student researchers.
Session 6: Historical Research in the U.S.—Accessing Federal Resources Online
Presenters: Hannah Tofte (Washington History Day, OSPI) and Andrea Reidell (National Archives)
In this session, presenters will introduce educators to two federal-level research repositories with collections available online, explain the nature of their historical collections, and advise on remote access for student researchers.
