[WSCSS] Holocaust teacher seminar in Tri-Cities & Writing/Art Contest!

The Washington State Holocaust Education Resource Center is offering the
following programs - a teacher seminar, a community program, and a
writing/art contest!

In the Tri-Cities - Community Program: Stories from a

Thursday, March 18, 2010.  7:00pm - 9:00pm.  Benton City.
Free and open to the public! At Kiona-Benton City High School.


In the Tri-Cities  <http://www.wsherc.org/programs> - Creating Change:
Teaching about the Holocaust and Genocide
Friday, March 19, 2010.  8:30am - 3:30pm.  Benton City.
Includes advanced and introductory sessions!
At Kiona-Benton City High School. $20.  Clock hours available. Sessions
include: Overview of the Holocaust, Rescue and Resistance, Operation
Reinhard Camps (advanced), Teaching about Genocide, and a special
presentation from a Holocaust survivor.  Space is limited!

Holocaust Writing and Art Contest
Now accepting submissions!  Open to students in grades 5-12 in the Pacific
Northwest (WA, OR, ID, AK).  
Entries accepted now through April 2, 2010.
