Important Update on Japan Study Tour for Washington Teachers

The UW East Asia Resource Center has just discovered an error on our website
about our summer 2010 study tour to Japan.  Please note that the
Washington-Hyogo Teacher Institute is taking place in 2010, as the core part
of the Fulbright-Hays Seminar Abroad.  The deadline has been extended to
assure that Washington teachers have a chance to apply for this heavily
subsidized tour.  Many WSCSS members have participated in the past and found
it to be a great learning experience.

Application information is posted on the EARC website at
jsis.washington.edu/earc.  The new deadline for online submissions is
Wednesday, February 17.  If you plan to submit an application, contact the
EARC at earc at uw.edu or 206-543-1921 for information about sending reference
letters separately.
