The Washington State History Museum is looking for names for our
upcoming exhibit about Washington state. Opening in November 2009, this
exhibit will showcase symbolic "icons" of the features, events, and
people that make Washington state unique. This exhibit not only
identifies icons but explains how and why these icons came to be. From
the Space Needle to Lucky Lager brewing company, and from Ezra Meeker's
efforts to save the Oregon Trail, to game five of the Seattle Mariners'
1995 divisional series against the New York Yankees, we will explore
what Washington has done for the country and the world.
