6th Annual International Classroom Workshop

A look at the Russia-Georgia conflict and US-Russian relations

China and Tibet: 

Centuries of oppression or salvation from feudal stagnation?

Eric Cunningham, Assistant Professor, Gonzaga University

 

This workshop will feature speakers from the Jackson School at the
University of Washington and Gonzaga University for an afternoon of
informative talks on US-Georgian-Russian relations, and China and Tibet.
Speakers will also review suggested background and curriculum materials
for use in the classroom. The program, which includes 3 clock hours and
a light snack, is $15. Co-sponsored by the Ellison Center for Russian,
East European & Central Asian Studies, East Asia Center, East Asia
Resource Center at the Jackson School of International Studies,
University of Washington & the School of Education, Whitworth
