[WSCSS] Ralph Munro Institute for Civic Education Teacher Workshop announcement

Join fellow social studies educators at Everett Community College on April
29th, 2009 for the Ralph Munro Institute for Civic Education's Spring
Teacher Workshop, "Using Court Cases in the Social Studies Classroom."
Participants will hear from a panel of legal experts regarding the purposes
and realities of the court system. The second half of the day will focus on
factors to consider when selecting cases, court case resources,  and
potential strategies to use within the classroom. The cost for the workshop
is $95.00 and includes a continental breakfast, boxed lunch, parking, and
teaching resources. Clock hours are available for an additional cost.
