History
Program Details
One week residential programs for secondary school social studies and
history teachers.
Program sessions and activities help teachers incorporate economic
activities and reasoning into American History courses.
Instructors provide economic explanations of pivotal historical events.
Graduate credit available
$300 stipend for EFIAH Wooster program participants.

Economics for Leaders
Program Details
One week residential programs for secondary school social studies and
economics teachers.
Learn to teach with engaging simulations, lesson plans and activities.
Gain a better understanding of economic principles and an economic way of
thinking.
Lab-style format with FTE instructors demonstrating activities with
high
school students.
$150 Attendance Stipend for all participants. Additional $150 stipends
available for commuters.

Environment and the Economy
Program Details
During these four-day, residential programs, teachers learn how to use
economic principles to analyze environmental issues. Participants learn
how a rational, economic approach to the environment helps students
understand the complexity of these issues. Lesson plans are demonstrated
and discussed in order to build confidence in their effectiveness.
Outstanding instructors lead intellectually stimulating sessions, and each
program includes a field trip to an environmentally challenging site. Come
find out how economic analysis can help clean up the environment.
