 These collections of lesson-chapters are a product of 47 years in the
classroom and three years of rewriting my widely disseminated units and
seven previously published works. They are meant to supplement traditional
textbooks, provide a deeper understanding of subject matter, stimulate
informed discussions, and facilitate engaging simulations.

*  Some units are intended for high school students reading at grade level,
others are designated for junior high as well as for average and struggling
high school students.
