Opportunity for High School Students
The Foundation for Economics is currently accepting student applications to
the Economics for Leaders <http://www.fte.org/students/efl/>  program.

What Is It? 
The Economics for Leaders camp is a weeklong residential program devoted to
the development of future leaders. Distinguished economist Milton Friedman
once stated that ³leaders in particular should learn economics because their
decisions are more important.²  In response to that thought, the FTE created
the EFL program which combines lessons in economics and leadership
development to teach young leaders an economic way of thinking about
decision making. 

When Is It?
Programs are held on prestigious college campuses nationwide throughout the
2008 summer. You can view a list of sites and dates

Who Can Apply? 
Programs are open to high school juniors. To apply, students need to
complete the FTE online application.

What Does It Cost$
Room and board and curriculum materials provide by the FTE. The cost to the
student is a $125 - $200 program fee.
