I've received a lot of responses to the below -- thanks for your
interest! I will be in touch with the lucky winners by the end of the
week.

Subject: [WSCSS] Free mock trial materials for middle school

Happy New Year!

I have ten free copies of a middle school mock trial program from the
Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago. If you are interested, please
email me at pami at wsba.org and I will mail you one.

Based on the children's story of Jack and the Beanstalk, State v. Bean
teaches students how to participate in the jury system. The package
includes a 30 minute DVD of Jackie Bean's trial where students serve as
jurors weighing the evidence and rendering a verdict. The teacher's
guide has instructions and student handouts as well as a follow-up
activity on jury selection.

For more information on the Constitutional Rights Foundation Chicago,
visit their website at www.crfc.org <http://www.crfc.org/> . (Some of
you may know CRFC as the employer of the excellent trainer Nisan
Chavkin, who did a full-day workshop at Chelan a few years ago on "Civil
Liberties and the War on Terror.")

I hope to see a lot of you in Chelan this March ...
