The American Civil Liberties Union of Washington provides free speakers
to high schools on a wide range of civil liberties issues. Topics
covered in recent school visits have included the Bill of Rights, civil
liberties in the news, the growing conflict between national security
concerns and personal privacy, free speech in a post-9/11 world, student
rights, and rights with the police. Our speakers are well-qualified,
passionate about their commitment to the Bill of Rights, and unflappable
in front of tough audiences. To request a speaker, please call the ACLU
at 206.624.2184 or visit www.aclu-wa.org/resources.
