[WSCSS] Goldman Sachs Youth Prize

This is a brand new prize so the word is just getting out.  Asia Society would really like to receive some entries from Washington state. The John Stanford International School was the first elementary school winner of the Goldman Sachs Prize for Excellence in International Education in 2004. Maybe we can have one of the first youth winners too! 
 
 
ANNOUNCING...

The deadline is fast approaching for high school students from across the country to apply for the Goldman Sachs Foundation Prizes for Excellence in International Education.  Five students who demonstrate an in-depth understanding of key issues in international affairs and the global economy will receive a $5,000 scholarship prize each. Selected by an independent judging panel, the student winners will also receive an all-expense paid trip to New York City in early December where they will be recognized at Asia Society's Gala Annual Dinner. The deadline for applications for the youth prize is October 23, 2006.
